Sim Card with Best Data Plan for 20 days

Hey Guys

I know it’s probably asked several times about a good Mobile Network Sim Card for Tourists.

I’m only asking again because prices and plans change frequently so what are the current best sim cards with data plans only for 20 days. What are the best Networks who provides 4G Network in Pattaya.

Is it better to buy in the airport of those tourist sim cards or wait and buy in Pattaya.

Please advise

Regards

I usually buy a tourist SIM from DTAC or AIS
https://www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/tourist-sim.html
https://www.ais.co.th/travellersim/
They are 4G however the data itself is (usually) unlimited but the speed is throttled after you've used your quota. Then it throttles back to a lower speed which is still acceptable.
Free wi-fi is typically everywhere. At least wherever I ate there was free wifi for customers.
You could buy a SIM only plan and then pop into a local Pattaya 7-11 or a AIS or DTAC branch (Central Plaza) and get a top up just for data or whatever.
If data is all you want you can ask for that at the airport. I did that during one visit and it was roughly the same price.
If making phone calls is not overly important then look at a data plan only.
From memory I am fairly sure they threw in at least 100 baht worth of call time. That was gone real quick after a couple of local calls to my dentist to schedule appointments.

There was a really great thread on this. It covered many options and work arounds to get a SIM only and re-load it cheaper and easier than the tourist packages.
Maybe someone will link it. I hope this gets you started on your research. Enjoy your trip.

This is so true.

While I was staying in Pattaya I used http://dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/tourist-sim.html

I haven't had any problems with this SIM and Free WI-FI is everywhere.
