I will be bringing my clubs for the first time. Do your clubs come out on the regular belt or is there an oversized luggage area.

I can't really say with regards to golf clubs, buy when i moved my guitar over to Thailand i had to put it through the oversized luggage, and i would imagine there would not be much difference between a golf bag and guitar case in length and width.

Yeah they will come out alongside the normal luggage.

I bring mine with emirates  and Qatar

Normal belt on Qantas

From Perth they're put on the oversize luggage conveyor.

Arrive in Bangkok on normal carousel.

From Bangkok they go onto oversize conveyor

Back in Perth they're delivered through a separate door (not on baggage carousel)

Can't comment on other countries

Which airline?

So it varies. Mostly, and with different airlines, mine come to Oversized. Theres nearly always a person there to ask and they will check on their walkie talkie. Unfortunately TIT applies and you may get the run around. In fairness, only ever a short delay and they always turn up. Hope I haven't jinxed myself[emoji849]

Almost without exception it’s on the luggage belt at BKK airport...I think once in scores of trips it was on outsize.

I know that leaving from BKK there's an area to drop off the clubs.

Could've sworn that coming in to BKK they also came out in a different area. Might have depended on the airline as some have indicated. Not hard to find though.

BA from UK in August was sent to the outsize luggage area and had to wait a while after collecting my baggage - sorry

Yes mate, happened once to me too, on a Qantas flight fro Sydney- turned up at the outsize area.

when flying out of Scotland I drop my golf clubs at the oversize belt. 
when collecting at Swampy I collect along side my normal bag.When leaving Swampy I drop it off at the oversize and pick up at the normal carousel in Scotland.

However I must add I only bring a light weight carry bag with my shoes and 10 golf balls in it.

Maybe it depends on who's unloading the plane ?  

I fly Emirates my golf bag (oversize) comes through normal baggage claim area.

last 3 times with qantas from sydney, over size luggage area and they are happy to take there time it seems.
