30/60 day longer stay

Good day all

Quick question please. I am from the UK and married to a Thai lady, we both live in pattaya.

I arrived on a 60 day tourist visa from the UK, due to work reasons i had to extend for another 30 days in Jontien.

Due to work reason again. I might need to extend, is this possible? If possible, will i get an extra 30/60 day extension?

Or do i need to leave Thailand totally, lets say for a week and then return? Any problems when i arrive back into Thailand?

If you go to Jomtien immigration, you will only get 7 days.

You are better doing a Visa Run to the Cambodian Border which takes about 8 hours in a minibus and gives you another 30 days (which can then be extended by another 30 days)

I don't think you can get back to back extensions. Probably, better you leave and come back to the country via an international airport.

Reports of immigration officer using his discretion and stopping entry is quite rife now.

My neighbor did a Visa Run to Cambodia and later a 30 days extention  about 6 months ago, no problems in either case.

The VISA can only be extended once (30 days) so you will need to leave the country.
