Does anyone know what they are planning to do by clearing the area on the Cozy Beach side of the hill ?

For sure I don’t think a Condo is going up looks like some kind of Road clearance to the Bali Hai pier road hopefully to alleviate some of the traffic mess around.

There has been a lot of road construction in the Cosy Beach area for over a year. They started on the back road down to the Royal Varuna Yacht Club and are now working on the main road going down to Cosy Beach hotel which has most of the shops, restaurants etc. At some stage they will do the top of the road. Locals are assuming that the clearance you have mentioned will be used as a relief road.
