Hi, I was just curious if there is any way to unstar a thread I previously replied to?

Also, is there any way to hide a thread from being shown in the 'View New Content" list?

Looks like you can only change your rating, not remove it totally.

Ok then. Regarding the first question, the bullet point next to the thread turns from a circle into a star after I reply to it. It's a bit more eye catching that way which is sometimes undesirable. Probably not something that can be changed either but I thought I'd ask.

The star on the listing means you've posted in that thread (I thought you where talking about the rating top left of a thread?). Even if we could change it we wouldn't as it conveys valuable information to our readers.
