Laong’s Bistro | Jomtien

Recommended Posts

laongsbistro

Considered by some to be a hidden gem and considered by others to be miles away, Laong’s Bistro is a boutique style, elegant dining restaurant, situated on Jomtien 2nd Road.

Our menus feature an extensive and unique selection of International, Asian Fusion and Thai cuisine with many of the dishes being exclusive to Laong’s.

As a small family owned restaurant, you are always assured of an efficient, personal and friendly service in a warmly welcoming, relaxed & romantic atmosphere.

Our menus and weekly specials are displayed on our various social media sites including FaceBook, Instagram, @line, Twitter as well as our website laongs.com

Since we opened in November 2015 we have tried to keep up with the rapidly changing demographics of this multicultural city. Currently we operate 13:00-23:00 Monday thru Saturday and along with great food offer a nice selection of wines, cocktails and craft beers.

It would be helpful to say where on the 10 km long road it is to be found.

Apologies, couldn’t work out how to edit my original post so for location info we are located directly opposite the 3 buildings known as Jomtien Condominium

@laongsbistro

A link to your website might help members or copy and paste the menu on the thread?

Is the business Thai owned?

Laong is Thai, Robert is Scottish. One of them speaks excellent English and it’s not the Scotsman

laongsbistro Do you no longer offer discounts on Eatigo?

We removed ourselves from Eatigo around a year ago. We have our own weekly specials which are mentioned on our website https://laongs.com/specials tbh, Eatigo didn’t really do much for us

Thanks. That’s a shame.

Makes it even less likely that I’ll be able to get my friends to visit. I usually eat with one or other of them when I’m here at the moment and I’m afraid they won’t pay your prices. I’ll have to try by myself at some point.

I also think its a mistake as I can see its Taking off big time and is bringing in customers that would never normally eat at the eateries that are listed.

Especially ones that are off the beaten track .

Yep....mistake for sure. I recently discovered Eatigo here in Bangkok, and I've used it a few times in the past month to eat at restaurants I never would have tried otherwise.

Well, I’m sure they know how much business they got through it and how they’re doing now.

My impression this trip is that fewer businesses in Pattaya are using Eatigo than last year and those that do are giving less of a discount.

Anyway, we better get the thread back on track now and leave it to the Restaurant.

Got to say, only heard good things from people who have eaten there.

Changes to our opening hours from Aug 19th. As the demographics of the town change, so must we. We've been asked numerous times to open later and given that currently, the afternoon session is relatively quiet, we've decide to shift our hours to 17:00 opening to 23:30 close.

We don't take the decision lightly. We are in the final stage of planning a new cocktail bar area in the "boutique", we're in talks with a European furniture designer on new tables & chairs that will allow us to increase our capacity and comfort levels and we are investing in new people & new kitchen equipment to further enhance your experience here. You may already have noticed our new lighting and sound system designed to make the evening ambience a pleasurable dining experience.

A new menu is in the offing also, bringing in some of the most popular new dishes that we've been playing around with these past few weeks, and withdrawing some of those which no longer are in fitting with our elegant dining offerings. We also introduced recently a new wine list, an extensive range of spirits and a cocktail list we are sure you will enjoy exploring.

We hope you like the changes you'll see in the coming weeks and of course as always we welcome your comments as we continue to strive for your delight.

As some of you are aware, we have a weekly specials menu which changes every Monday. These are the new dishes for this week. We select the most popular dishes for inclusion in the next edition of our menu. In addition to our international menus we also have a wide range of Thai food, many of which are unique in the area.
