Pattaya to Bangkok bus times.

Anybody happen to know when the earliest busses leave Pattaya for Ekamai station?

I’ve found a few sites with differing info from 4:30, to 6:30.  Wondering if anyone can verify. I have to be at BKK at 8:45am, and I’m wondering if I can avoid a taxi. I figure 2.5 hours via bus to ekamai, then 1 hour to bkk via bts, or just take a cab from there.

I know it’s only 1-1.5k baht more, but my first trip out I had a pretty scary experience with a cab to Pattaya, and I’ve basically sworn off of them if I can avoid it for anything but a quick ride. I almost rather pay more to take the bus.

You could take the 6:00am Bell Bus. You should be at BKK no later than 8am. Cost 300 THB and they pick you up from your hotel:

First one is 4.30 am, get there 30 mins earlier than the bus you want, they are usually full.

Many people get off at Udom Suk for the BTS. Usually its 108 baht but site says 119
