Online stock broker with access to Stock Exchange of Thailand?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Im looking for a broker, where i can get access to the Thai stock exchange, and preferably also buy Thai government bonds.

Its important that they allow non-thai citizens, since im currently located in the EU.

Any suggestions?

Hi. Here is the list of Brookers working on the SET :

https://www.set.or.th/set/memberlist.do?language=en&country=US

AFAIK they all allow trading online (most using "Streaming" software or App)

They probably also all accept foreigners, but better to find an agency who has people speaking English (not all have some) as there are lot of papers to read and sign to register. It's the only time I had to go to their agency, everything else I made online.

No idea for Thai government bonds though. Maybe not for bookers-only but more for banks doing brooker-also.

Because it's a good thing when you are expat to have revenues in your local currency ?

Those who have revenues only from UK surely regret that now with the low GBP...

Imho would be better to invest on the SET using an ETF or other investment vehicle from outside the country:you will still enjoy the currency appreciation as long as its unhedged.

eg this for EU/UK investors:
