Ask for injection if you need a filling. Often they will drill away without asking

Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. My best mate got all his amalgam fillings replaced there by an American trained lady dentist and told me it was a third the price than in Australia .I think they may take walk ups but I'm not 100% sure.

Go see Dr Nu from the V Dental clinic ... it’s right across from Friendship Supermarket on the other side of the road on the right .... Dr Nu is very professional and competent ..... I don’t think going to a hospital is necessary .....

Bangkok Hospital is an overpriced mega bucks nightmare .... irrespective the health issue .... I’ve been there several times .... the doctors don’t ask you what your problem is first, they ask how much money you have

Mate I've always respected your opinions and still do Walter but all I want to say is don't muck around with dental issues no matter where you are.I go to the dentist here in Australia and mine has told me about horror stories that come from overseas including Thailand. Again my mate told me he was very happy with the work done on him and the price. It's up to the bloke with the dental issues to choose.  For all I know he may be a multi millionaire or have insurance so money may not be a big consideration.

I understand your point and I agree with the basic principle .... when it comes to health, no expense sparred,  go to someone good and competent ..... but we have to seperate fact from fiction ..... I’ve been going to Thailand over 15 years and have been to numerous dentists .... I am sure your mate was truthful in saying that he found the Bangkok Hospital dentist competent .... most bigger hospitals have a dental area, but personally I’d only go there if there are complications .... for example someone on blood thinners ... generally speaking , dentist in Thailand are actually very good and very competent .....

off course a dentist or doctor in Australia is going to tell you about the horror stories coming from countries like Thailand .. he doesn’t  like the very cheap competition ..... off all the risks you could take in Thailand, dental work is way at the bottom .... are there stories of gross incompetence, yes off course, but the same could be said locally here .... you just have to be smart about things .....

True. I avoid BPH due to the bill padding you get in hospitals. I'd only use a hospital if full on unconscious anesthesia required

I had a major filling replacement done at Hollywood Dentist on Soi Lengkee, 1000 baht for a very fast job that was painless.
