Vietnam Visa

Recommended Posts

I want to book a flight to Ho Chi Minh from Bangkok for next month..just for 4 days, to check it out, before flying to Cambodia.

I looked online and seen that for many countries, including my own, the visa exemption rule means I don't need a visa for stays of less than 11 days. Which is perfect.

I was talking to someone yesterday who says that he done simillar recently, but swears you need a visa on arrival, which means applying for it in advance. He says the visa exemption and VOA are basically the same thing.

Now I'm confused..my question is..if I have a British passport, can I just turn up at the airport and get on the flight, and get to Vietnam without filling in any paperwork, parting with money, or needing passport  photos ?

Thanks for any advice ..

Hi there, I am just back from Vietnam in January past and I got the e Visa but only due to length of visit. Having just had a read on the uk government website it does appear UK citizens dont need a Visa if it's less than 15 days
