Within the last hour I just booked 8 nights with breakfast included for £216 quid. Seems like very good value

I think a more accurate description would be that after going right on 2nd (or left on Beach Rd from the other end) you're only a 1 or 2 minute walk from Soi 6 depending on your walking speed...Yes, this is indeed the best location for frequent Soi 6 visitors.

Yep, you're close to Soi 6. I take a few minutes at the exchange booth.

Blue Sky is my go to hotel when I am in Pattaya.  As others have stated before the staff, the large shower, and the cleanliness of the rooms are all pros.  The only cons that I can think of are that most of the rooms don't have great view, the lack of a gym, and having to constantly log into the wi-fi.  I can't speak on the breakfast buffett as I never wake up early enough to partake.

Also, there's an excellent massage place right down the soi from the hotel.  I never did partake of any extras there but they are available if you so like.  Myself and some other board members spent many afternoons getting massages there after a visit to Soi 6.

Just stayed at Blue Sky for the first time this past weekend. Great location and excellent value for money. Only minuses are that the walls don’t insulate against sound that well - easy to hear people outside which could disturb you if you’re a light sleeper (maybe it was my room being in the middle of the hallway close to the elevator - suggest a room towards the back of the hallway?), and the bed mattress was just ok (not hard but I like very soft mattresses - in this regard the March hotel beds are a winner).

A short update to the hotel: There was a renovation of the pool, the changed the upper tile and made them new! Also they exchanged the furniture on the balcony of every room!

There is still no Gym available. (Nov 2019)

Yep, I never can get a room these days. No matter how many sites I try.

Now I look for a room in LK Metro that has a nice bathroom/shower like Blue Sky.

Any suggestions?

247 Boutique has fairly nice bathrooms. A large shower room where you can fit 4 TGs probably and an option to switch from normal shower to the rain type shower. Good pressure and very hot water. This was the superior room, but the room itself is not very big.

1705592647_dec15020(Custom).JPG.6c91ced0This barcomplex on the corner of soi5 is under construction! Maybe finished in end of December 2019!!

Also the Mc-Donald between Soi5 and Soi6 on Beachroad with the busbar in the night is gone and under construction!

I stayed at Pattaya Blue Skye recently and was very happy with it.

While I was there they installed a  Defibrillator mounted on a wall in the lobby, complete with "break the Glass Box" instructions etc.

Very thoughtful of them - hadn't seen this in any other hotel - in Pattaya or elsewhere -

Just booked it for 2328 baht for 3 nights so that's what, 776 baht or something a night.

Was gonna go with Trebel street right near WS where I stayed before but they only had twin suites and they don't have a pool.

Blue Sky came up first in Agoda then I found this thread, so with good feedback from the gang, and so close to Soi 6 and a pool, it's a no brainer.

June 2022, will feature in my TR:
