Extension of O-A Visa

Recommended Posts

Entered Thailand on an O-A Visa (obtained from RTE, Canberra) 28 October 2018

90 day reporting at Jomtien Immigration 28 January 2019

Left Thailand on 28 February 2019

Entered Thailand on 07 April 2019 (Immigration stamp exit date shows 05 April 2020)

Q 1. When do I need to extend my O-A Visa (27 October 2019 or 05 April 2020)?

Q 2. What:

- documents will I need to submit

- photocopies will I need

- what is the Extension fee?

Cheers

Q1. Shortly before 5 April 2020 unless you leave Thailand again and re-enter in which case it will be 12 months from that entry date (as long as it’s before the visa expires in October).

Q2. There’s a couple of threads about current requirements but you don’t need to worry about it now - other than making sure you meet the financial requirements.
