Renew 5 yr license - Pattaya or Rayong?

My license was issued at Pattaya. Do I have to go back there to renew? I was thinking of going to Rayong instead as I am a little closer to there and thought the service might be better/faster, which is the second part of my question. Does anyone know about that? Thanks.

try the website      donslifeinthailand       very helpful info , he used to do it on all areas but now lives in chang mai and just sticks to that area . have a look , never know you may find something out . good luck

all though it's chang mai , one would think the rules would be the same in every area . no harm in looking as they say

Their English in Rayong might not be so good but may not be a problem. I know some people go to Chonburi instead so maybe Rayong is ok, no harm in going and asking.

 

 

The Pattaya transport office is like a war zone, totally full with staff and falang stressed out. Better to avoid if you have a choice
