I heard one of the best locations in Pattaya on beach road is the Markland.   located Beach Road Soi 1.   Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but the smallest room in there is 45/SQM.  They also have two hotels in there I was told were illegal but I don't see any problems with them in 4-years my buddy has been renting there.

• Since your staying for a month, I am sure you can find a rental there.  The advantage is
• beach road bus route
• 20 meters from Beach Road girls
• easy walk to second road
• close to Soi 6, about - 9 minute walk
• GF friendly no one stops you
• Has hotels (floors 7-10), inside with VERY negotiable rates for 4-weeks
• If your a spender, they have rooms in the front with complete beach view from soi 1 to the pattaya beach sign, BUT these rooms are huge at 157SQM, so expect to pay more
