Pattaya Klang Roadworks

The work to bury all the cables on Pattaya Klang continues, and the stretch between BigC Extra and Beach Road will begin in June and is due to finish in September.

Seem to have started digging up the Beach Road end already.

These cables are known to Thai,s as "spares" only problem is their unsure as to what exactly they are spare for............

Best you try and avoid Pattaya Klang - Third Road junction, as these roadworks are really bad today and guess for the next few weeks.

They have been working in this area on an off for months.  Today looked like a one lane cluster fuck at 3rd Road and Pattaya Klang.  Luckily I was on foot since I walk to school by Big C.  And many small sections on 3rd Rd have been under construction lately too.

Speaking of 3rd Road, it used to be a good access path for me coming from Jomtien and going to the area near the hospital. The construction jam got so bad last Fall that I have stopped going into that area. Anybody know if that section has been finished off as of yet?

I think it all kicked off again today ... until the 10th?
