LK residence - deluxe room

I want to book the lk residence's deluxe room for upcoming trip. Usually I stay at LK Royal wing or LK Royal Suite, but I want to make a change this time.
My questions to you who stayed in this hotel and had the deluxe room:

- It seems that the kitchen in the deluxe room is much smaller than the other rooms. And I can't see any microwave (important to me) in the room's description(agoda). Is this true?
- Is the room facing soi Buakhao or the pool area?
- Is the separate shower large enough for 2?
- Can I ask to get two key-card when I check in?

Cheers

Hi..

I stayed in a Deluxe last November.... I liked the hotel, the staff where brilliant, however I will be looking at alternatives for this year as i think it's overpriced and like most LK hotels it's starting to look very tired.

My room did had a microwave and yes the seperate shower is large enough for 2 people.

My room was on the side of the building facing Soi Buakhao.

I am not sure about the two key-card situation.

Stayed at LK Residence in Nov-18 (Deluxe Room) .....Shower not big enough to fit two people ....You can get better at the price..Try Areca , it is value for money ...Hotel / Room is dated ..Location is great ...Staff some very good ..There is a rude receptionist who will give angry stares at your BF ...They do not take Id's of the Girls ....

i stayed this february in the deluxe room.
microwave: can't say for sure... but if i have to take a guess: no microwave in my room
the room faced towards the back, i looked straight at the base.
the separate shower is imho not big enough for 2 people. of course, you can fit them in there if you "need to", but it's not a lot of space to move around and very cramped. compared to for example 247 boutique hotel, it's a LOT smaller.
key-cards: no idea

i expected more and was a little disappointed all in all. the separate large bathutub was nice, but the rest was not worth it for me personally. won't book there again.

Stayed twice at this hotel, the bath tubs were a bit to high, you have to literally climb up into the tub for a shower, once a massage girl after giving a oil massage went in to shower, slipped, passed out and luckily recovered after two minutes. Another minus is no restaurant and tired furniture. The only plus is the great location on Soi Diana and close to all places of action. If I do decide to stay again it’ll be only for the location. Hope you have a pleasant stay.

Living sober, clean and staying away from loose women doesn't make a man live any longer. It just fucking feels like it.

I stayed there for 15 nights in February in a deluxe room. The rooms are good if a little dated, however that is the same as all of the LK hotels I have stayed at. The jacuzzi bath is nice but I think I used it 3 times during my stay, the shower cubicle is for one person with an overhead shower head and a normal wall mounted shower head, this was fixed to the wall and could not be adjusted up or down. The location is very good although I prefer the location of the Royal Suite. I did have an issue with the ladyboy receptionist on check out who told me I had a 400 baht bill for laundry I had cleaned which was wrong, I told her that it was incorrect as I took all of my laundry to the shop just outside. She started shouting saying I had to pay and tried to give me my deposit less the laundry charge. I told her I was not paying and to show me the paperwork. She then phoned her boss and after a couple of minutes handed me the full deposit without an apology.

Because of the behaviour of the receptionist I won’t be going back there

I really like LK Residence, but I too had a slip in the bathroom. I was very lucky to escape with some bruising.

Thank you for your comment! :High5:

Rude receptionists are my favorites. They usually behave differently when I'm done with them. :Laugh1:
Thanks everyone else for your comments.

:Thanks3:
