My tenant (young digital nomad type) was living there with his cute TGF. But he'd confided to me that she wanted marriage and he was having doubts. So his untimely expulsion may have got him off the hook!

Out of interest, what was he deported for? apparently you don't need a work visa if you work online. Deported is often because of an overstay

No overstay. AFAIK he was booted for doing too many in-and-out runs without any kind of long-stay visa.

He's actually one of three guys I know who've spent a night in the Swampy cells this year -- who were then put on the first flight out in the morning. One of them has been in LoS for the past 15 years and has several properties & businesses here. Ironically this happened only a couple of months before his 50th birthday.

About that lavatory... is it climb into the tub for a shower, or is there a separate shower stall? And is it building-supplied hot water, or inline water heater?
