Rent car Udon

Anyone know if there is a car rental place in Udon where I can rent a car and then drive to Patts and return it  to them in Patts?

Never done anything like that, but you might try the major suppliers; Budget, Avis, Hertz.  I tried to do your request through the Budget web interface but it said 'call the call center'. Budget at least does allow different pickup and dropoff points, but not sure about half way across Thailand. :-)

Most of the big rental companies are in the airport, Hertz, Avis, and Sixt etc.. 

You would probabably have to return the car to the airport beside Pattaya although I think Avis has a place in Rayong.

Can do with Hertz.

Is Steve still renting out trucks or is it just the restaurant now? Tbar is the latest I believe.
