Finally decided it's time to get a vasectomy.   Can someone recommend a good hospital or clinic in pattaya to get this done.  Thanks

Wherever you go i can recommend a no scalpel vasectomy, less invasive and less recovery time, not much pain, plenty of ice post op

And no action for a month

By no action I assume you mean you still need another form of contraception until it is confirmed you are shooting blanks a month after the operation.

Sorry mate it's 2 weeks of any sexual activity not a month ...

Info for the place I had mine done in UK

Sex after the operation

Avoid sex and masturbation for two weeks after the procedure.  This is because sperm may leak out of the cut ends of the vas deferens before they have healed, which can lead to the development of painful nodules. Ultimately this can also cause the ends of the vas to re-join and render the procedure unsuccessful. There is no evidence to suggest that the procedure alters sexual function in any way.
Contraception

It is essential that you continue to use effective contraception until your semen analysis shows a zero sperm count. Without this, pregnancy is still possible.

I had mine in the UK as well. I was called back a month later and gave a sperm sample that was tested before I got the OK.
I had to look up what a no scalpel vasectomy is. It seems to be like keyhole surgery.
Mine seemed to be half way between the 2 types. One cut in the centre from which the doc reached over to each side to make the snips. Only 1 stitch required.
I was back in the saddle (with wife on contraception) within 10 days as I had no warning not to be and from memory wasn't told not masturbate as above. Anyway, some 15 years on I have no more offspring.

I can remember when I got the V. I didn't want, was pissed, and was kind of scared about it. At the time, I thought that it was the right thing for my wife to do. I can clearly remember the male nurses telling me it was the best thing that I could ever do (already had children so no more).

God damn were they right. I'm now divorced and have fun without worrying about more kids.

I'd tell any man now to go do it!

I have had 2 guys tell me that their desire or drive for sex went down after they got snipped.

I'm 63 and had scalpel, 2 cuts just last January.  Only slight pin prick pain from numbing needle.  Went to bar after, never used ice; only felt scratchy/itchy stitches for a week or two. Wore boxer/briefs as I always do.  Of course my Dr. said I was anatomically perfect, which means he didn't have to hunt for and pull the tubes.  I think that's the part of the procedure that causes post procedure 'nut pain' in many that I never experienced.  Soooo glad I had it done.

Not I, but I've got 2 kids already assuming the decreased desire is a mental thing about being virile/fertile or something.

I had V at 28 after 2 kids.  72 now. No issues.  Desire is in your head.

I had a no scapel vascetomy and what is called open ended where one endof the vas deferens aren't closed off but the other is. I read this can prevent some of the swelling that happens when both ends are sealed. Many doctors refused to do this and I finally found one that did. That was about 15 years ago no problems, plenty of desire and no kids.
