This large family home with jacuzzi pool in Udon is coming along nicely. We build Pools and Homes in all shapes and sizes anywhere on the mainland and have English and Thai speaking representatives.

Hi Ron
That would be impossible to answer as everyone’s projects differ for a hundred different reasons.
Land costs are wildly variable depending on location and specs for the build are chosen by the client and range from having single or double skin walls to type of roof to insulation etc etc.
If you have an idea of what you are looking for and can give me details I can narrow things down a bit so drop me a pm if you like. Also how you purchase the land is something you would need to discuss with a lawyer and not something we would have input on but the cost of building has no relevance to how the land is owned.

Thai company name is a question for a lawyer. Several Board Members use this method (via a lawyer) and you could drop them a PM as to who they use and likely costs. You could also see who practices law close to where you want to buy, As with any company there are annual accounts etc. to be submitted. Just like owning a company in the UK.

Land prices, in the same way as in the UK, will vary as to where you buy the land.

Among other things land prices will vary as to the popularity of the immediate and general area and also the fertility of the land (for example, in Burriram, they have one crop of rice a year, in Nakhon Sawan they have 3 crops of rice a year, so land prices in Nakhon Sawan will be more expensive). 

Generally the price of land is far higher next to a main road as opposed to down a quiet country lane (the opposite of the UK) because land next to a main road is seen as land where you can sell goods or carry out a business as well as live there.

As to building a house it really does vary a lot depending upon your specifications. Before asking how much, a list of what you want, sizes and to what quality you want it built would be needed.

Houses built close to where I am, that I know about, range from 2 Million Baht to 30 Million Baht. I am sure you can get cheaper and more expensive dependant upon specification, then add onto that land prices.

Most girls I know will happily rattle off the latest land prices in their area. Their expertise being, the current price of Thai Gold, what the rate of exchange is from your currency into Thai Baht, who won the football and the price of land.

And with regards the land the price depends on the type of Title deed on it.
