No More Soi Pothole

Recommended Posts

English rose

Just had notice that the "road maintenance guys" will be starting to fix the poon about 9 in the morning and for all cars and bikes to be off the road.....expecting it to be completed about 10.

Fingers crossed for a half decent job that will last longer than 3 months.

ER

Alan.

Be awesome to be able to walk down it at night and look at the places instead of watching every step. Really bad after rain.

Be careful what you wish for.

Potholes or screaming motorbikes?

WoW, believe it when I see it on Thursday, if it is still held together. Last time the ladies in the bars were throwing water on the new job before it settled, re making the pot holes.

tongue in cheek pal...judging by previous repairs it's more of a case of "let's get in and out as quick as possible boys"

From this morning. Another temporary repair. About an hour to grade the soi sounds about right.

Well....they started at 10:15 and are still hard at it..a grader wasn't getting anywhere so JCB was called in and took the surface down about a foot..it sounds like the front end is scraping the underlying concrete road surface..at still stage i can't see it being finished for a few days.

They certainly picked a fantastic time to do it during high season lol

In and out as soon as possible sounds like a typical massage shop on the Poon 555

It will last until the next rain. Probably even deeper potholes by Valentine's Day.

Dig it 12" deep and fill it with concrete would do the trick.  :)

Um some people would prefer it if you didn't go too deep.
