Bangkok Post: Dtac users 'must switch' to avoid service loss

This has been brewing for a while. It's the older 2G network that is affected, but if you're not on that - which the SMS you got would suggest - you'll be fine. It all stems from some legal wranglings over DTAC not participating in auctions for new frequency slots in the 2300mhz range while the contract for their older 850mhz slot is expiring.
