I looked at their site, but the prices were about the same as Areca. I like metropole and areca because it's near the poon and lenkee. But I would have stayed at BB if I could have got it for the price I was looking at. It was $10 a night cheaper on hotels.com.

Anyway, I'm set up for Aug. trip and counting down to upcoming Feb. trip. :Clap8:

I stayed 4 nights in June.

Very girl friendly and help reception.(When I asked where a local Copy shop was for my passport they just did a free  colour copy without charging).

Great poolside food options and if anything it lacked sun umbrellas around the pool.Great location.

I also stayed at TIM intimate hotel nearby which had better walk in showers and a much nicer pool area, but was 900 baht more per night.

Stayed here last weekend. 650 a night and absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment on it, but the rooms were nice and fairly spacious and the staff were very pleasant.

On the strength of this (Thank-you all contributors) I’m booked in July.

Got a balcony room for 8 nights AUD236.   ….about 710 baht  per night.

Outstanding.

Enjoy it mate...do not expect a Palace but the rooms are OK, the pool is good, and the location is fantastic.

Stayed here again this weekend, must have got a refurbished room as it was a significant upgrade on the one I stayed in last month (this was on the 6th floor, previous was 2nd floor)

Tried the breakfast this time (decent) and the pool (fine)

Enjoy, it’s become my go to place recently

I stayed there for years before moving here Oct 2018. I first stayed at Sea Me Spring on Soi 10.

BB was a Palace to me and some of my friends who stayed there! :) I recommended BB to many people I know...they loved it!

I chose there originally for the location over time it was that and the treatment by the staff.

If someone is looking for a Palace or expensive hotel there's many to chose from and yeah BB isn't one. For my money this was the best place to stay. :)

Ouch, so you start with two dry days due to Buddha closure? Luckily I'll be there on the 11th so I could use those days to sober up...

Ouch is right, I had no idea. I actually get in on the morning of the 12th, at least that gives me a day to stock up. Thanks for the heads up.

I haven't stayed at the Bay Breeze yet, so I have to ask those who has if there are a safety box in the room? Their website doesn't say so?

There is a safe in all the rooms and the reception also has safe-keeping boxes as well.

Will the Bay Breeze be closed from mid of August to end of November this year? You cannot make any bookings for this period anymore - neither on Agoda nor on their own home page etc.

I am surprised to hear that. I have just finished a week's stay and apart from a rather annoying sticking drawer in the wardrobe everything was great. Breakfast buffet was almost always deserted (I never used it) so maybe they are planning to do something with the ground floor space.

They just messaged me via Agoda yesterday to inform me that they will be shut during the time I booked a room from them, very annoying.

Have to wait for a refund and find somewhere new now.

When were you supposed to stay there?
