Recommended Coffee spots in Pattaya

Recommended Posts

I haven't seen a list of recommended coffee spots in Pattaya.

I need a coffee to kick start the day.

I usually wander up Soi Honey from 2nr road on my way to either Witherspoons or I-Rovers for breakfast.

On the left-hand side roughly opposite the Honey Inn is a small 'shed' where the barista named Bom makes a very good flat white for 35 baht.

While I am out and about, I'd like to know where there are other spots that make a good flat white.

Any ideas?

There is a place by LK Metropole hotel that makes a decent coffee. Name is “Mini cafe”2DCEB464-0D19-46E0-A8CA-8C696B710852.thumb.png.cc933c370f5c3b38a932f446a19e20f4.png

“Robin’s Nest” also do a good coffee.

Both of them in Soi Diana.

used to be a Starbucks hater, but for some reason, now it is my GoTo coffee shop (the Avenue shop)... I still buy coffee (beans, ground) at Benjamit's (near the market on Bukhao, on the Pattaya Tai end of Bukhao), and drip my own using one of their 1-cup plastic drip thangs with paper filters... I also like Bake&Brew on Soi Excite... and I used to like ?forget its name?, on Soi Lenkee, on the Bukhao end of it... there is a coffee stand that is staffed by a couple pretty sexy gals (one pretty tat'd up, but in a pleasant sexy way) near the 7-11 on the corner of Bukhao and Soi 15, and I know one of the gals - but I haven't tried their coffee...

Retired in Pattaya, Thailand - arrived April 1, 2014... Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh... LiveN my dream!

Only place I’ve had good coffee in Pattaya is Starbucks. Most other places seem to use cheap, harsh, bitter French/Italian style beans/coffee.

Being a mad coffee fan (mainly lattes) and been spoilt by living in London for the last 10 years, my experience is that the 2 best in Pattaya are Bake n Brew:

Benjamits (they roast their own coffee):

I don't like the latte in Banjamits as the barista always burns the milk but the quality of the coffee is the best (I buy all my filter coffee from them, freshly ground)...the espressos are supposed to be very good.

All the chains are crap. All the stalls are crap.

Try a place with a half decent well maintained coffee machine and someone who knows how to use it.

A bit out of the way, and more of a Bangkokian hipster cafe, but Dripoly on Pattaya Tai has a fine selection of coffee and beans. https://www.facebook.com/dripoly/

Tried them last month, and the beans and machine was ok but the latte quality was pretty poor.

They definitely have a good selection of choices and cater for the hipster element in Pattaya.

Cheers for the heads up, I will give the place a try and report back...always on the lookout for another decent coffee spot.

I always get frustrated when I travel to another country or even to Chiang Mai as most places now have a dearth of artisan coffee places, Pattaya is definitely lagging behind.

Hoping we see more open up soon here like in CM now:

The head barista in Ristr8to even won the World Latte Art championship in 2017...simply stunning coffees up north.

Coffee club in royal garden plaza on 2nd road.

They have also opened another one on beach road at the teddy bear mueseum, near soi 2

awesome cappuccino . Always consistent, Melbourne quality and great staff.

Never understood Starbucks, would personally drink instant if forced to whilst being physically restrained!

Compared to my early visits to Pattaya, there are an abundance of good quality coffee shops available.

Along with those already mentioned , Honey's in View Talay 6 next to the Hilton has very good coffee and coffee drinks. She gets her beans from Chiang Mai .

The larger 7-11 stores have coffee kiosks ( All Cafe )  inside. The cups are not huge , but you can get a good latte for 25B.

I am not ting tong...my mother had me tested.

I can indeed vouch for the coffee at Le Pub. It is the perfect pick me up if you are doing a 6 or 7 hour sesh on Walking Street!

off topic, the chunky steak pies are delicious !!
