Loom for cheap charlie.. soi lenkee

If anyone looking for cheap loom ...top of lenkee try this one. Its right next to family mart. Hab TV, ac, big fridge, balcony and the best bit it has soft beds!!!! It'd like being hugged by a marshmallow. OK downside is... The cleaning I'd not the best.

Stayed there a couple of times, the cleaner was in as soon as I came downstairs. Only problem I had a couple of times was when they loaded the washing machine and my shower ran dry. Boss lady gave me a big grin lol.

She organised a taxi to BKK for 1000 bt in May 18. Proper two tone cab.

Not exactly cheap. That comes out to 12k a month. You can get a nice condo for that price. Cheap is what some of the girls pay.. 3-5k a month.

I have always had 1st floor front rooms and the noise has never bothered me. A couple of times there were parties over the road at Travellers Rest but usually finished by 12.

I stay less than a month so that doesn't come into my equation...

Yea there is a bit of noise...

Wouldn't get aircon flat screen TV big fridge in that 3 to 5k loom...

Anyway just a heads up for anyone looking for reasonable price room with soft bed...

Thanks to the OP for this review. This is another cheap option in a good location. 

You can’t compare monthly condo rental costs, with the price of a daily stay in a guesthouse, it’s comparing apples and pears.

Beats mine...I'm doing a standard budget room 12k (400 per day) without air..I wonder though, is there price inclusive of water and lekky?

Yes..

Once again I will say... The best thing about this loom is soft bed.... 

There are lots of rooms around for similar bt.... Most of them have mattress like slab of cement.

I don't know monthly rate. I pay 400 per night.

I used to stay at JW regularly several years ago when it first opened. It was always a good short term budget location for me , however the noise from Lengkee did continue late into the night at the weekends and the large windows with light coloured curtains meant that the light 'streamed' in, early morning. Maintenance of the guesthouse started to deteriorate a few years ago so I moved on. I think they offer rooms for 500 THB per night at the current time.

Spent a fortnight at Miracle House a couple of years ago, identical building just around the corner from this one facing Vogue at the back. 550 baht/night and really good value for what you got, I thought. No noise back there at all, plus really friendly staff and everything kept in good nick. Checked on Agoda recently and they've gone up to over 900 a night. Absolutely barmy, no idea what's led them to charging that price; it's about 50 baht less than Vogue.

Clean House, on the same row as Retox, was going for about 775 a night too, not much better. Can't see too many cheap charlies forking that out when you can stay in a decent 3 star hotel for roughly the same.

^ Staying round the back is not something I'd recommend as tour buses park up outside the Vogue hotel overnight, then about 7am they start their noisy engines in readiness to ship out hordes of Chinese tourists. 

Bee's place used to demand a deposit, which was a problem as I had to check out at 8am one Sunday morning & there was no one about to obtain a refund.

Ask for a room at the back and you'll be fine mate. Shit view but the hotel isn't much to look at anyway.

Reading that back it doesn't make too much sense... the back of the back building housing the guesthouse, I mean, with the front of it facing Vogue, for anyone who's not well orientated with the place. Hope that's a bit clearer
