Visa extension

Hi lads I need to go to jontiem and extend my 30 day on entrance visa for 15 days,could you offer advice do I have to do this on the day my visa runs out ,I know I need a photo is there anything else I need to take with me

I would do it BEFORE my visa runs out.

Take some proof of where you are staying (hotel receipt, rental lease) though they probably wont want it.

And your passport and TM6.

Apart from that they have facilities inside for photos and photocopies.

take a pen and you will need proof of address.

When I did it you could do it prior to expiration date.  I think the cost is now 1900 baht, when I did it cost was only 500 baht.

I am on 'Retirement Visa' so have no experience of this but do you not have to complete FormTM7- Application for Extension of Stay. or some other form.
