My visa runs out this week and I asked the guesthouse if they did anything online for me when I arrived (T30 I believe).

Mama was exasperated that I left it 5 days before it runs out and phones the boss who is currently on holiday and won’t be back this week. 

So mama says I have to go do a visa run Monday or Tuesday basically meaning they haven’t done the required form online and can’t be arsed sort it it.

What should I do now go jontiem and fuck it because it’s there problem and fault ? Or just go do a visa run ?

 

There are others more knowledgeable on these topics than myself, but here is my take on it.

The person you are renting from did not file a TM30. They are required to do so within 3 days of your arrival. You have obviously been here longer than that.

Problem is that when you go for your extension the person that is going to get caught in the middle of this is you. Do you have a rental contract or something like that to show Immigration? That would help your case for any fine being directed at the owner.
