Best Chiropractor In Pattaya

Featured Replies

A close friend of mine is having some serious discomfort in his lower back and he's 70 years old. He's been losing weight and stopped drinking for several months and now he's to the point there is a pain in his lower back if he turns around too quickly or walks too fast and even rides motorbike taxis with horrible suspension. Each bump is like a punch in the back.

He's had this problem before and solved it years ago by going to several chiropractors in the San Francisco, California area. Ultimately it took him 3 months to find the right person to quickly alleviate his pain. He now lives in Pattaya full time and has been coming to Thailand for 25 years.

I personally had a case of Sciatica with pain shooting down from my lower back to the toes of my feet. On some days the pain was so bad it was a struggle to walk without limping. Being in constant pain doing basic things is probably one of the most helpless feelings in the World. Finally, after living with this for close to a year it suddenly went away.

Could somebody please post any information on reputable chiropractors in or around Pattaya even Bangkok? I've been lucky enough to avoid them myself but we all face the inevitable fact that our bodies literally fall apart as we get older.

It would be greatly appreciated if any of you who have first-hand experiences or even knowledge from a friend you might have heard about. Thanks in advance for trying to lend assistance to a man in need of just good information.

Cheers!

I go to a chiropractor regularly for sciatica, I'd be in a wheelchair if it wasn't for them, I visit them just before and after my holiday in Thailand.

I don't know the procedure in Thailand, in the UK anyone can be a masseuse but if you want to get insured then you have to study and get certified, same in the US except there your not allowed to charge money if your not certified.

Me no daft, me no silly, me wear condom on my Willy.

There is, I believe, only one chiropractor in pattaya. There are others in bkk.

However, I am unsure how to progress further with this post...!

I'm sure he is a very knowledgeable guy, and when I first saw him probably 10 years ago did a good job. However, he is getting on a bit (who isn't? ), has always been quite moody and abrupt, and his own health is now suffering...he is now shuffling with a stick rather than walking, and doesn't seem to be able to get the speed of movement needed to adjust properly. Whereas even 4 years ago he was booked solid a couple of days in advance, he is now seeing probably no more than 10 patients a day, by his choice, and bookings even over high season were available on the day or the day after.

I wish there was another in town.

Thanks, gents for your helpful input. I have forwarded this information where it is needed to a friend in need. The last thing anybody wants to see is a buddy in pain. The last thing he wants is any sort of pain medication as they would most likely prescribe in the West. Hopefully, it shall help many others in the future as these specific health-related threads always do.

Any good experiences or information shared about acupuncture specialists around Pattaya would be most welcome too.

Cheers!

Thai guy just down past Tony's gym on third rd.  Same side heading to Jomtien.

Quite a large shop but he seems to work alone.

Great job and I have used both back crackers in Pattaya.

I have used Dr Pack in North Pattaya, and can say he is well beyond his best before date.

There is a Belgian osteopath that works out of his home on the darkside. His name is Philippe Vos. He does good work. He also has a lady who does massage in his home.

But I will have to say without a doubt Dr Mark Leoni in Bangkok is incredible. His clinic http://thailandchiropractor.com/ has physiotherapists that work along side of him, and he gives you a lot of time when you go see him. Not an "in - snap your neck - and out" kind of guy. He is expensive, but worth it. He charges 2500 for the first visit, and 2200 for the subsequent visits.

As for your pain with sciatic pain, I know what you mean. Can be downright debilitating, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone. However, it can often be confused with SI joint issues, and gives a very similar pain. You may have had this, and thought it was sciatica. I can say that if the SI joint is adjusted, it can give significant relief, to eliminating the pain totally.

Don't forget back and muscle pain is also a symptom of syphilis!

Don't ask me how I know.

The other person maybe to look at is Nigel Kelsey if he is still going? His clinic is near the corner of Pattaya Tai and Soi 16.

Tel 0890993845.

Not strictly a chiro but can manipulate and does needling with an electric current. I used to use a chiro/osteo in the UK and found he was able to achieve the same results and sort out some issues I had. I know of several people who have used him and been happy.

I had sciatica last year, pain in my lower back all the way down my left leg

worst pain you can get and normal pain medication doesnt work

went many chiropractors who didnt help at all,had my back cracked dtc

went to massage thearphy etc still no help and i would be bedridden most days on nerve pain tablets

then went to pattaya last year and went to hydrotherapy classes in a heated pool everyday and even twice a day doing pool type exercises for my back that you cannot do normally

eg pushing knees up to chest and down, couldnt do that exercise  without being  in water ,doing exercises in water to strengthen lower back

i cant swim so had to use the  heated pool that i could stand shoulder height in using floaties in each hand

i remember going for massage and walk on back massage which was great

after a few weeks my sciatica went completely
