UK Samsung with a Thai sim

I have a UK Samsung 5S sitting here doing nothing.  Anyone got experience of getting one unlocked and a Thai sim fitted?  Any issues I should be aware of.

If it is an old locked phone then your provider should do it for free I think. Not 100% sure but I think they must do it after 1 or 2 years.

Provider is in UK, and I'm not

I got it done with an Irish iPhone in January and had no problems. I got it done in MBK in Bangkok and it worked perfectly. When I got back to Ireland, I put my Irish sim back in and no problems. I forget the cost but think it was about 600 baht.

Tukcom should be able to do it easy enough, I had one done a while back and I think it cost me 600bt the same as above.

Worked perfectly.
