The cure for Pattaya fever? Another trip! May/June '18

Featured Replies

Just got back last week and things just haven't been the same - missing those adorable ladies and the daily schedule of a vacation in Pattaya.  It's been tough getting my mind back into the game at work and getting through the daily grind.  Just had miles post into my airline account from my last trip, and the cure for what ails me was to book another trip!

I fly back late May and stay for 8 nights....makes the malaise of missing Pattaya easier knowing that I have a near-term end in sight!

I land late late on May 30 (early 31st) and fly home on June 8th (early am flight).  Makes the countdown to later in the year planned trip (Sept '18) easier as the days/weeks are fewer.

Sounds like you got a bad dose of the "Pattaya blues". The best cure is to book the next trip. So for you all is good:)

That’s the only cure. I tried everything else over the years but nothing works. Eventually I had to start visiting twice a year to keep the blues away! I just got back from pattaya late January, within a month I had my next holiday booked. Roll on June!!!!!

Yep! No going back now, you might as well cancel your life in your own country now!!!!

It was the soonest I could repeat and I'm already counting the days....

Yeah.  I normally spend about 10 to 14 days, there, at which time the activities and heat have exhausted me (and I don't drink!).  But, when I get back home and even before I am unpacked, I am thinking about the next trip!  We should enjoy it while we can.

Meh - had to trim a couple of nights off the trip to accommodate a trip the following week to Europe for work....c'est la vie...I'll just have to cram just that much more fun into a shorter trip!  I'm flying business class so even though I land late I'll hit the street running!

  • 2 weeks later...

Good idea, will book my 2nd '18 trip soon

Will also be in town around the same time, its my first trip cannot wait.

  • 2 weeks later...

It's a beautiful thing booking that return flight.

I understand the Pattaya blues. When I come back home, I look outside my window and see rain and clouds. When I look outside my window in Pattaya, I see street food, sun and bars. I can walk outside my hotel and be playing pool and drinks with a bar girl all within 5 minutes.

It usually takes me a month to get over the blues. It is this huge feeling of bordom and low energy.

I second you !!!
It's been 32 days since I came back from Los. But I can't wait until August for my 6 week-trip. I had to book a short trip today, only 6 days in Patts from June 8th. Will be staying KTK Regent Suite.

Too bad I'll be missing the Annual Soi 6 weekend party. But I hope to meet up with some BMs for a drink (or 10) in Soi 6 or else where
