Anybody know how long you can stay outside of Thailand each year without voiding your ed visa?

My Thai Ed Visa is Single entry so you void it when you leave Thailand.

If it is a Multi Entry version then it follows the standard multiple entry rules...

 

I don't think there is anything special about the ED visa other than the restrictions of obtaining one and the length of time it can go on for.

I just did my first re-entry permit (ED visa single entry) few weeks ago and its validity was until the next visa reporting. Meaning, if your next 90 days reporting is in 34 days (for example), you have until that moment to come back using the re-entry permit.

No idea if this is the official way or there's any workaround, just commenting by personal experience.
