Pattaya to Ho Chi Minh City

Is there a convenient way to travel to and from Ho Chi Minh City from Pattaya?

I'd like to make a four or five day side trip there when I can get to Pattaya. I would rather

not go back and forth to BKK.  Thanks

I want to do the same.  Your only option is out of BKK.

If you could fly from U-Tapao ( you cannot ) this would take 45 mins by car.

So a flight from Swampy only adds 45 mins. max to the great picture.

I'm astounded sometimes on this forum how ignorant people are of travel in south east asia.

Are we talking 'ghost train here'.

Come again?

Train from Pattaya to Bangkok. Yes - it exists.

Train from Bangkok to Poipet. Yes - it exists.

Walk the border.

Train from Poipet to PP. Yes, it exists.

Bus replacement service (standard western train service) from PP to HCMC.

Ignorant indeed. You'd better write this all down. You might be needing it based upon your "investment" ideas

Not only does the Poipet to P.P. trainline not exist yet. I have to laugh at your interpretation of TRAIN. As in walk, bus, and non existent rail line.

At least when I invest in a foreign country I know how to get there.

So do I sunny - business class Cathay or Thai air. :D

Aren't you taking this all a bit too seriously? I google "train from pattaya to hcmc" and post up the first link. Not a serious suggestion, but just a bit of a gag. Here's a tip - if you do invest in a bar, stay out of it. You clearly don't have a genial hosts type of personality.

Oh dear me you had to google "train from Pattaya to HCMC !! Even with google you mess it up with non existent trains, then try to cover your ass with "its just a gag".

I guess if I do invest in a bar I would have to put up with clueless guys. No worries we were all newbies once.

Yes i did have to google it because I fly in planes pal... it was a joke - a concept you seem to not be familiar with. I lived there for 8 years and when I went to HCMC, I flew. Of course.
