Cant receive text (sms) with my AIS

Hi Buddies, 

I have a prepaid AIS sim up and running without any problems. My data package is working and its the same sim i've been using for a year o so. It also has a balance of about 100 baht. 

However, i'm unable to receive straight text (sms). 

I understand that one might have issues with mms but usually a simple SMS doesn't require any heavy setup.

As you are likely to get 50 different answers it would probably be better to just go to anu AIS desk and have them check it. Probably just tick a box on their computer and you will be good to go.

Out of interest, and probably not related, but have you registered the SIM? I still have 3 old sims that i never registered and they dont seem to fully function.
