Ok. I played the video to someone from Issan. The video is in Lao/Issan. "Eum" in the video is a derivative of Issan "eu", chai.

"Eum" is used in the same way as "chai laew". I'm used to hearing it as "mmm" and it translates to "mmm" in English!

But you don’t have to believe me. Ask any language teacher, read any Thai grammar book or look at any Youtube video that discusses this subject. They will all tell you the same: a negative question cannot end with ไหม

As for your yoga teacher, I wasn’t there so can’t really comment on it, but if I had to guess he/she said ใช่ไหม really fast and you misheard it as just ไหม

It’s not that I do not believe you, but it is definitely used by Thais around me (maybe they weren’t taught formal central Thai grammar). In the case of my yoga teacher, I am quite sure I did not mishear a ใช่ไหม for just ไหม because her question was not meant to confirm that I wasn’t tired yet, but more showing (playful) surprise that she still hadn’t worn me out yet, so you could suspect that she said หรอ, but I would definitely have picked up on that.
