Don't get me wrong I'm happy to see it, but it amazes me that all year most of the restaurants mentioned cater to British tastes, and then once a year celebrate a strictly American holiday. Seems hypocritical to me. 555

Chik N Coop is sold out for Thanksgiving.  I'm tempted to try Peaky Blinders for the pecan pie alone.

And one more:

The Hard Rock is serving Thanksgiving dinner through Nov. 30.

FEIW, I ended up booking at Sportsman for early afternoon, but had no problem moving it back to 7 pm so I could spend the afternoon at the pool with my LLT.

I thought it was EXCELLENT and am likely to repeat next year.

Started with the pumpkin soup (with bacon), main course was a MASSIVE plate of food and finished up with a VERY tasty little pumpkin pie (with glazed pecans and whipped cream).

Dicey Reilly's is opening up just for Thanksgiving. Listed as a "carvery" for those, like me, who want 2nd helpings. A bit pricey though at 999thb, but 850 if booked before the 20th; which we did.

Catered by the Avani hotel.

In 2019, I celebrated Thanksgiving at The Sportsman Pub & Restaurant.

I think it was about 800 baht, but the food was amazing.

Turkey, ham, plus more and all the fix-ins with a nice soup and dessert.

It is a not a large venue so you must reserve a table and time slot.

I'll be having my Thanksgiving and Christmas meals in the U.S. this year thanks to COVID (:Cry3:), but those of you in Pattaya should consider the  all-you-can-eat traditional American turkey dinners at the Chik-n-Coop Bar for both holidays.  Coop cooks up a real down-home feast. There's plenty of Thai food for the ladies you don't like turkey dinners. Get your tickets early as I have a feeling it will be sold out as always even without tourists in town.

My photos from last year's feast are posted above - highly recommended!

....but they didn't offer crab cakes last year!  While I enjoyed the soup, I LOVE me some crab cakes and certainly would have gotten them!  5555

Agree, I love crab cakes as well. If my memory serves me right, they had crab cakes on their Christmas menu last year and they were well received

suggestions for where to go for a simple meal. turkey, ham, potatoes, and stuffing basically. not really interested in a dolled up set menu. I like the basics and alot of them :D

I'd suggest Coop's place - Chik N Coop bar.

  • 2 weeks later...

ended up going Dicey Riley's buffet. Quite a big spread but to me(an American) it was basically an English Sunday Roast buffet + turkey more than a thanksgiving buffet.  food was decent, the roast ham was very good. I'm not a big sweets guy but the dessert selection was great
