247 Boutique Hotel - Mini Suite Room

I generally stay at 247 Boutique hotel when I vacation in Pattaya but this is the first time I have up'd my game and stayed in the suite. My preferred area of Pattaya branches out from the Soi Buakhao intersection where Soi Lenkee crosses on one side, and Soi Diana crosses on the other. There are a lot of fine accommodations in this area, and I've tried many of them, but I keep drifting back to 247 Boutique. The management and staff are first rate, the location is great, the rooms are clean and well appointed, and at least for the normal rooms, the cost to me is a good value for what I'm getting. 

The Suite: So over and above a normal room, the suite includes the 20" all in one desktop that I'm writing this review on. If you're someone who uses internet shops for your Pattaya computing needs, this is one way around finding the time to travel to the internet shop. There's a desk, with a desktop computer, in front of a panoramic view from Central Mall to Harbor Mall and all in between (if you have a north facing room. The room itself is also 46 sq meters, so you won't feel cramped when you're spending time in the room. The suite also includes an outside deck, large enough for two chairs and a small table. (note: my room has a small sign inside that smoking in the room is a 2000 baht penalty fee.) The room has a small kitchen-ish alcove, there is a small wet bar style sink, but no microwave or other cooking surface. Inside the room there is a sofa, coffee table, and a decent expanse of floor space before you get to the seating area flat screen television. There is a second television on the rear of the room divider for watching television from either of the two beds. 

Another aspect of the suite, the room is set up for three. There is a double bed and a twin bed. There are three cups near the coffee maker, there are three robes and slippers in the closet. There are three sets of towels, and three sets of shampoos and lotions. The bathroom includes both a bath, next to the big glass walls that overlook the rest of the room, and a standalone shower. The room is designed to host three people, so depending on your Pattaya interests, this may be the perfect room for you.  The one minor negative I have about the suite is that the builtin closet is very small. I haven't listed what's in the normal rooms for this portion, just the extra value portions of the suite.

Location: 247 Boutique hotel is next door to Honey 1 Body massage, on Soi 11 or Soi Honey. It is between Soi Buakhao and Second Road, just north of the LK Metro area. 247 is about halfway down the soi on the north side of the street. Soi Honey is primarily a soi for massage with extra, and small beer bars. There are a few restaurants, and a Family Mart fronting Honey Body massage. 

Room: Overall, I really liked it. I typically don't stay out all night, and I do get up extremely early for the typical Pattaya vacationer. On the seventh floor, I didn't hear any noise either while I was getting to sleep, or in the morning writing this review. For a place to stay in Pattaya, if you're a light sleeper, I highly recommend this hotel. Most of the time I stay on the fourth floor, north side, and even there, I did not notice much noise. There is now an open air bar complex on Soi Buakhao, and I have heard some noise from there in my fourth floor room, but last night was Friday night, and on the seventh floor, I didn't hear a peep. 

One of the claims to fame of the 247, is the glass walled "pervert shower". I'm not sure if it's potential lives up to its reality, what with shy young Thai girls who dance naked in a bar, wrap up tight and snug in a covering towel when you get back to the room. It doesn't seem to give much hope to an in room shower show. 555 Be that as it may, I really like the glass wall feature. In both the large and small rooms, the glass wall opens up the main room, and opens up the bath room, so neither feels as small as they otherwise could. I also appreciate the natural light that the glass wall allows in the bathroom.  

Facilities:  247 Boutique has a rooftop pool, and a small fitness room. There is a restaurant/bar next door in Honey Inn which is a corporate sister property. Room service in 247 Boutique, and the available breakfast buffet, are both sourced from the Hive Restaurant in Honey Inn, which is directly across the soi from 247 Boutique. 

Summary: For a while, I was trying to stay at a new property each time I visited Pattaya. For the last couple of years, that has changed to staying almost exclusively at 247 Boutique. For location, ambiance, and value, I really think it is hard to beat. There are lots of places less expensive, and lots of places more expensive, but for my money, on a cost/value basis, I keep coming back to 247 Boutique.

360 photos inside the room (Samsung Gear 360)

On Google photos, or Facebook, you could mouse around for a 360 view, but here, you'll just have to see all around at the same time. :-) I could have turned them into 'tiny planet' photos before uploading but that might have made them harder to see the room. Just try to imagine all those curved walls actually being straight walls.

Thanks for your review, can you close off the bedroom from the sitting room? 

I always stay in a suite because I like to have 2 seperate rooms but found with some hotels there's no proper way to seperate the bedroom from the sitting room.

Unfortunately not. The room divider is three posts with televisions mounted front and back on the center post. At best it just sections off the room visually, but not at all for privacy.

Agree with you,  great rooms in a nice hotel in a top spot. Pool never gets too busy, no cameras so good place for fun and games.

Gar - What's the rate for a suite? I stayed at the 24/7 3 weeks ago, but as I am not as 'wedged up' as you , I was in one of ordinary rooms.

I paid around 1,150 or 1,200thb....very decent hotel for the cash....and as you say great location.

@LOTTELLEE WINNA  I think it was just under 2000 baht per night. I'd have to go over my credit card statements from several months back to make sure. I think I'm getting a small discount for booking a full week, but I get the breakfast included in the room rate. 

I do remember at the time I booked, it was less expensive to book directly with 247 than it was to go through Agoda. 

And just so you don't think I've won some lottery, I think this is the first time in seven years I've paid more than 1200 baht per night for a room. :-) 555

I booked a suite yesterday for 2 nights in mid January 18 (needed a back up room in case I don't go to Samed for a few days). Book now, pay later on Agoda was about 2,200 baht a night including breakfast. 

Pretty good value considering the time of year.

I've stayed here before after moving from Areca Lodge due to bugs (small white ants all over the room) 
Really enjoyed my stay, great staff also a fellow monger was staying a few rooms down and we hit the town together lol total coincidence. 

Didn't realise they had suites as I changed my booking last minute, I'm going to definitely book it on my next trip.

I stayed in the mini suite for 12 days and the only complaint I had was their wifi. You had to log in every time you entered the room (no auto connect) and even when your phone went to sleep it would often log you out. So I found myself having to log in 4 or 5 times during the course of the day.

With them providing a desktop computer with the room, I just logged in with their desktop computer and kept it connected to their wifi all the time. I just made sure to use the private mode on either Chrome or Edge, and made sure to erase all my histories before I checked out.(which had not been done on that desktop in years) I wouldn't be comfortable using the supplied computer to do any personal banking, but for checking out Pattaya Addicts, it was fine. :-) Additionally, the computer booted with their login credentials, rather than mine. I suppose if I got into full tinfoil hat mode, I could worry that the generic login could be cross checked with the hotel booking history to coordinate the desktop browsing history, but I'm just an old retired guy, rather than a covert operative. 555

I always have an unlimited data plan on my phone, so for that part, I didn't worry about the wifi, and if I was going to access my bank, it would do it via True's data network rather than a hotel wifi network, so no worries. With the cost of 30 day data plans in Thailand, I wouldn't really care about hotel wifi, even if I was a tourist. :-) (besides, you want a data plan on your phone if you're going to take advantage of Badoo "bumped into" notices.) 555

I had my own laptop last time, dealing with the wifi wasnt that bad, though bandwidth for YouTube sucked lol.

I also had a 30day unlimited data plan for fuck all. Minor annoyance but I dealt with it.

Re the wifi and local unlimited data plans - run your phone as a hotspot for your laptop and you're fully connected to the web no matter how awful the hotel wifi is.

There is definitely not for one. I have no direct experience with two, but I heard somewhere that it was not a problem. With the suite room specifically set up for three, I'd guess it would not be a problem. Again though, I have no first had experience with two additional guests.

I like the look and price of this hotel, the main thing that puts me off is running the soi honey massage gauntlet every day, I know I could head up Soi Dianna as I usually go for breakfast around Soi Buakhao. Anyway I'm leaning towards the Metropole or Renaissance next trip anyway.

The suite rooms look good ( although showing as unavailable for the dates i am considering ) but note that the superior rooms are only 23 msq and were coming out at close on 1500 baht per night when booked late November / early December directly with the hotel.

Just checked their own website along with Agoda & booking.com price for mini-suite is 3000bht + for a 26 day stay May/June, would appreciate advice for cheaper rate plz!

You've covered the places I'd have looked for a rate. The only other idea is to email them directly and ask if you can get a discount on a long stay. 26 days is a long time. The only other option I can see staying at the same place is to go for the standard room (which is what I normally get) instead of the huge suite. Good luck!
