"Materialsman", don't you remember his Stag, he had a lot of work done to it by a local firm, maybe the one being quoted here in Rayong.

What constitutes a "classic car", does it have to be so many years old ?

said I could go 250 but never go over 120, too many tickets already

this is my point, but a cool looking car, not one just for the engine

Hardly would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up if showed her engine but " I'm in love with the shape of the Anglia's body".

If I remember rightly it was for sale at something like 450k I thought it was a bit pricey because still a bit rough round the edges.

On the Stag it's owned by the same guy who had the Bentley and a few other cars there which he has renovated to a very high standard based out of Bangkok very nice bloke obviously a very wealthy Thai.

555 Overpriced by $200,000US. It's not a lightweight special.

I'm in the minority I know, but never really liked the look of the e-type. And those skinny wheels under huge guards has always looked weird to me.

A Shelby Cobra is more what I like in that style car. Haven't seen one in Thailand yet but I'm sure they would be around.

Cheers

Fair point.  Back in the UK it is easy to find the specific classic car of your dreams, however as there are far fewer of these type of vehicles in LoS I think I will have to cast my net more widely. Hopefully I am wrong, maybe I will be inundated with offers of classic cars....if that's the case, i will narrow the list down further.

No, I haven't spoken to him yet. I have had a buddy over on holiday for the last few weeks, so I have been out on the lash with him. Going to focus now on finding a car - many thanks for passing on your mate's details, I will check it out. You are a star!
