I guess it gives you another hobby.

My friend is into restoring old cars and motorbikes (as a hobby).

The first bike he restored was when he was in a 2 bedroom house with no garage, he put it all together in his 2nd bedroom then could not get it down the stairs, so we had to pick it up above our heads to get it down the L shaped staircase !

He then went onto old cars, and I mean REALLY old, once he had moved to a place with a garage.

Maybe not considered a classic by some but it's more than 25 yrs old there is an old Cortina MK5 sits forlornly at the older Gas station with the car wash on Thepprasit Rd surely could do with some TLC.

Coming back from a bar late at night in Bangkok I came across all these sitting in someone's parking lot. Most looked like they had been there for years.

i have not tried a google search on these 2 leads. but i took these pics among many others in late march 2017 at the pattaya classic car show at the asia pattaya hotel in pratumnak. some of the cars were deffo up for sale but of course not all of them........

E-type is unlikely to be sitting around long.

Just passed an old shed/garage with a load of old classics on the Sukhumvit 3 on the way to  Chanthaburi not sure exact place but was between the markers 234&235. If a restoration is what your after these are the places to look.Saw a Beetle and a US big car might be worth a trip out to have a ganders.

As chance would have it I was back in the area today and the Jag was still there. Alas it was accompanied by a firm not for sale from the owner.

Some other random cars from today. Maserati next to an ex army Humvee with a Falcon behind.

There is a farang owned classic car restorer somewhere. I think its in Sattahip; google might help you. Went there once and he was doing a Merc gullwing and a De Lorean. He also had a lovely Stag that was finished. The gaffer told me they were all for Thai clients. From memory they don't have in house sales but he may well be able to advise on that.
