STD Testing - Pattaya

I'm probably heading to Pattaya first time in November but honestly, I am a bit worried about STD's, specifically HIV. Do you think if I get a girl for LT maybe 2-3 days she would be willing to get an STD test on the first day? Obviously still using protection but it would give me some peace of mind and hey.... free STD test for her peace of mind to see if she got anything....

If so, where and how long do they take and what to they test for?

If you are not barebacking there's no need to worry about HIV, if you are then take PrEP if worried. As for the other STDs just get tested once you get back

Thanks for the reply mate, maybe I am just being a bit paranoid I guess. Might look into PrEP but I live in England and can't get it from a clinic since it's still in clinic trials I guess, can you buy it out there? although I heard you need to be on it for like 7 days first which sucks.

Yeah you can buy it in the UK. The below was recommended by my local UK STI clinic.

Yeah, alot more likely (statically speaking) to have other STDs. Yes, HIV is the big one, but if you are using protection you are doing the right thing.  But condoms won't protect you from some others.

Yea, condoms won't protect against HPV and Herpes...those spread much more easily - skin contact around genitals is sufficient for transmission to take place.

you can get prep in Thailand also you might if it is going to be a single exposure get the PEP instead they do give that out at gum clinics. you can also buy the drugs in thailand
