Heading Back!!

Having not been to Thailand for over three years now I'm delighted to once again be heading back.

Obviously in the past three years things will have changed and I'm a bit out of touch to be honest. So I'd appreciate some help in finding some accommodation for my first month.

Don't really mind location to be honest, anywhere between Pattaya Klang and Walking Street will be fine. Must have good in-room wifi, modern, clean, quiet, pool would be great but not essential. Budget is about the 20k mark.

Appreciate any input, thank you in advance guys .....

When are you thinking of going(month) and would a guesthouse be ok? Or is it only hotels for you...Soi buakhao is a good location with some quite a few good guest houses.

20k for the month?

There are a few condos in the Soi 15 Buakhao area. City Garden, Urban, etc etc. Not easy to find online but generally find something there for 15-20k. Maybe a hotel for a couple of nights & do some walking?

Center Condo is another option for your budget. Not sure if good wifi would be included?

There are a number of decent guesthouses in the Buakhao area that would have good wifi (but no pool). Not sure if they'd do a monthly rate at your budget?

If you were thinking about hotels, then 650 baht a night doesn't give you too many options.

Guesthouses are fine. Not fussy, just modern and clean

End of your month is pretty much into peak season so you may find a lot of places booked up already.

A number of guesthouses run by BMs.

Canterbury Tales, English Rose, China Garden, Boomerang, Hunny Pot.. there are others.

You might get a deal if they can lock you in for a month.But most of the guest houses I have queried in Soi buakhao area start moving onto high season prices around October.Which can be 800 upwards range for one night.Davidge has given you a few suggestions that you could try contacting.If you are happy with a price you can then use google map street view to see its actual location to help you in your choice.
