Nice review mate. Sounds a great find at a 1000 baht a night in my preferred location.

Didn't know Travelodge had hotels outside UK.

I once stayed at a Travelodge hotel in London. It was ok, but felt like if McDonalds and IKEA would open a hotel chain together it would look like Travellodge.

Was 1000 baht a night the walk in price? Online prices seem to be between 1300 and 1400 baht per night, with the usual sites.

Quick edit, just found a deal on hotel.com which brings it down to 1033 baht for 7 days. Possible 10% off too.

I'm lost on the location as well... How many minutes will it take me to walk to ibar?

thanks

on this google map it is shown as Premier inn (Tilt view up as sign is on side of building)   before being renamed.. In Soi 15 .Click on link to give movable streetview.

Walk to ibar....Walk through mall over second road down onto beach road about seven minutes then get a baht bus along beach road to WS. Many moto taxis in that area 50 baht to WS

Good review, 1000 is a bargain.

I have paid more in Pattaya for a smaller room as I didn't plan enough.

I don't go for any breakfast included deals either, I seldom eat breakfast, but when I do, I go where the mood takes me.

Thanks for the review LW........ another good updated one.

I have stopped there when named the Premier Inn and the only thing I did not like was the size of the room.

The location was good... staff great ..... room condition good..... but the room was too compact for me.

Thanks again for the review..... getting updated information from people on the ground about accommodation is appreciated by all I am sure.

cheers

Mate, I love the Centara Azure. Great hotel. If I can get it at a decent rate, I will book for my next trip - Oct 2.

Thanks for another great review LW....going to bookmark this one for future visits. Seems to check all the boxes for me - location, price, comfy beds, clean, and quiet. Cheers!

I stayed there(Premier Inn) in february. Will stay there again next month. No breakfast for me though.....5 min walk to Casa Pascal:P Only thing which I would like is a balcony. Also, the elevator can be a bit noisy....my friend stayed at a room close to it, and it make a "sound"(pling!) every time the elevator stopped at a floor....a part from that I agree with the OP.
