Best Fish & Chips in Pattaya

[Pure Quality]

When in Pattaya I use the Friday special fish and chips as Café Pitini on Soi Bauhkoa. 

Always nice food in there I find, clean and good service.

Hungry Hippo's yesterday.  Good size and good quality imo.

There was F&C with salad for 109B on the specials list but my waitress assured me that the 149B was much better.

This week, went to Welcome Inn for F&C, and have to say, food was really good.

I did go for the cod, hand cut chips and had beans.

Cod was excellent, crispy batter, chips good, beans were a little on the small portion size, think it cost 265Baht, missus likes all Thai food there.

But on the downside, there was a loud mouthed fat battle-axe planted at the bar, guzzling beer with another lady. It was the same as when I was in for Sunday roast last week. Seriously loud, could not finish meal quick enough to get out, and went to one of the local bars and there was a guy who was also complaining about his experience listening to her.

I may return to Welcome Inn sometime in the future but for sure, will check to see if she is in before sitting down.

Went to Nickys today for F & C, on Soi Boukow. Had haddock special, reasonably priced at 225B and tasted good. 

Overall, the meal was average, homemade tarter sauce poor, maybe should have asked for mushy peas, not sure if they have.  Chips were hand cut and too big in size. Meal does come with 2 slices of white bread.

Today I went to Tropical on Darkside for F & C and was one of the best I have had . It was haddock, hand cut chips, came with bread & butter, homemade tartar sauce was excellent, mushy peas good too. 

Tropical is a well run place, staff are well trained.

Cost was 285B.

I would rate this F & C second only to Retox game on.

And much better than garden peas IMHO.

Yeh nobody wants to chase peas around a plate. I'd have no probs with it, despite the enthusiastic mushing!

Thats the giant 600b version. Whilst an old pic that they use every week, they are very consistent with appearance.

Yep Retox Game On is the best I have found in Pattaya ( Friday Haddock special 299 B)

Don't waste  you’re time with all the other cheaper 170/200 offerings all round town always shite slimy tasteless fish

Tried not to my taste
