R-con@siam or D hotel?

As the title says can't make up my mind!!Has anyone stayed at either/both?Any advice would be helpful thanks

Firstly i stay at D1 Apartment which is next store one block over, not

stayed there but there are 18 replies for D hotel further down same

page. R-Con @siam also not stayed but looked in at the rooms and

they look OK, can be expensive online but much cheaper with walk-in

bookings.

Have a look on youtube see if there are any vids of R-Con Siam.......there are a few on all the D hotels.....read the comments underneath the vids for extra info.

Stayed at the R-con 2 years ago, got a good offer and everything was good. Looked at it again this year, but prices had more than doubled, so chose to go elsewhere.

I stayed at the D Hotel in May and loved the place. Set back off Soi Buekow about 50 yards. Very quite,lovely pool and close to everything.

I would also like to hear more about R-Con @Siam from someone who has stayed there, thanks!

R-con room is big, but pillows are squishy (negative for me).
Toilet has a weird smell too (the room I stayed in)

I would say D hotel is better value

I recently stayed at D hotel.    Never again.   I left early.   About 20 yards to the side is a yard containing about a dozen chickens and cockerels that start at first light.   So bad that several people complained to the management 

if you want to sleep past first light stay elsewhere.
