I went back to ask questions. Only thai people in there setting up final room. All the main equipment is setup and ready to go. The whole place is a U shape with a rectangle room branching off overlooking the beach. Great views for the whole place. Rectangle room looks like it will be free weights and maybe boxing. Not sure on price.

Two gyms opening basically across the street from each other and within 1 year of each other, i.e. Fitness7 in The Avenue in Sep2016 and Coco Fitness in Mike Shopping Mall in July 2017. I hope both survive, but it appears that these two gyms may be rivals and slugging it out for customers and one may get KO.

I have been checking on this place nearly every day for the past 6 days. There has been seemingly no activity and I haven't seen anybody inside working on it. They don't seem to be in a hurry to open. Nothing about an opening date or pricing has been posted.

does it have a pullover machine ? and please no-one suggest doing dumbell pullovers instead.

Has anyone checked out the vending machine ?

I messaged them on Facebook last week, very quick to reply. Aim to open by 1st August

My last visit was April, no pullover m. then. (Fitness Avenue)

The machines are made for asian-sized people, so if you are tall or big guy it could be a problem

What I heard they had problems with card payment machine. I looking forward of their opening hopefully soon now!

I looked around yesterday again and there was still no evidence of anybody working on getting it open.

I had to go down there myself and have a look. Looked really nice but couldn't see any power rack and the free weight area was under all criticism. A gym for the machine enthusiast indeed cause it's was complete in that case for sure and even more on the way what they told me. That's why the delay. They hoped to open it after 2 weeks. I just missed the owner apparently so couldn't have a chat with him. 18000 for a year membership and fully aircon. A good addition meanwhile waiting for Muscle factory to open in next Mars 2018.

Plus it's open 24/7. The one at Mike's definitely won't have that feature.

I've been using Fitness 7 for the last month and haven't noticed any problems, and I'm tall.

18K is no bargain, especially since it won't be 24/7. If they're charging 18K, that means the monthly rate will probably be at least 2k,if not more. I'll stick with Fitness 7. Where will this Muscle Factory be located?
