I stayed in 24/7 for my last trip and it was fine but the no under 20 rule really pissed me off last trip . I hold my hand up I was aware of it but decided to book anyway. I don't typically go for very young girls.  Most Thai girls from 18 to 30 look quite the same but one night in a beer complex in Walking Street the stunner caught my eye but when she told me he's age I.got pissed off because I knew.i couldn't take her . Luckily for me her 22 year old equally as hot friend was available so I took her instead but I want to avoid thus next trip.  Areca lodge which I stayed in before used to have this rule . I have heard they have since abolished it so would like a confirmation

I believe this was always their policy, I believe they are just covering themselves due to the current so called "crackdowns". When I was a frequent user of Areca I got complacent and so did Evergreen reception so I never even approached the reception desk with my BF's and went straight up to the room except for a couple of occasions when I was a little unsure of the girl.

Now I only use a guesthouse each of my 8 visits for last 3 years there is no "control" over who I bring back, although I do believe that if the owner or his wife would have a "quiet" word if they so someone leave that could be "risky".

Is it not typical to expect a joiner to leave their id at the desk?  I was thinking of booking Areca but this thread is making me reconsider since I'm not sure if it'll be an issue.  As for as the OP is concerned, it seems like Areca would be fine
