Go to the top floor of the Tukcom centre , you can ask them to play any discs you want to buy so you can check the quality.

TukCom is on Pattaya Tai south side, just down from Soi Buakhao

On soi Buakhao there's a 'chicane' bend where the Rcon Bars are. The Rcon bar that occupies the same side of the road that the pharmacy and Rcon@siam hotel has a few tables set up on the side of the bar a few nights a week selling allkinds of stuff including DVDs I got a few myself from there and they was top quality and had Thai subtitles so they can be watched with your Thai companion.

Dvds are great. Another suggestion for you.

If it suits you another idea would be to buy an android box.

As long as you have good internet here and at home you will be able to watch all the movies and tv shows you could ever wish for.

There is a board member on here that is selling them. Or you can buy them at Tukcom.
