Has anyone stayed at the Base condo?

I am looking for a condo to rent for a month in August-September and I see that the Base has now opened up for short term rentals.  

I know the Studios are kind of small. I visited a friend there once to check it out, but cant' really remember my impressions. I am particularly worried about the bedrooms. Are they to cramped or boom boom?

My friend says the place is just too small but I think he may be biased as he spent 6 months there and is likely sick of the place. Also he had a unit in the middle of the building and I am looking at a corner unit with amazing Sea view. I think those units are a tiny bit bigger.

Does anyone have any experience an advice they can offer about the Base?
