Hotel Suggestions??

SureShot

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm likely booking flights tonight, for an end of may trip. I'm wondering if I can get some suggestions on a hotel?

I've been itching to get back to Pattaya since October.  At that point, I was with a buddy, and we got an Air BNB, staying at the super fancy UNIXX condo's...

This time since I'll be alone, I think it may be a bit safer to not rent a condo, but to go the hotel route... also being a bit closer to the action than i was before would be preferable.

Here is kind of what I'm looking for:

- somewhere in the middle between The 6 and Walking Street. (flexible with this!)

- BG Friendly (obviously)

- Not a dump - it doesn't have to be super fancy, but I'd like something nice, with standard amenities. wifi would be nice, but not a must, as i'll have a data plan.

- decent restaurants or street food close by

I'm even open to staying right  on\near either BR\WS or the 6, but thought it may be easier to be in the middle somewhere.

Really, I'm open to any good hotel suggestion.

Unfortunately during my first trip to Thailand, I didn't even know what Pattaya was until I arrived in Bangkok, so I was totally unprepared during my 5 days there, and we didn't get too much exploring done between the partying, and debauchary... so any suggestions you guys have would be much appreciated!

Thanks, and I hope to run into some of you guys when I get there!

-jay

Jay, what is your budget?....always a good starting point.

At, 1,000THB pn, I would recommend Nova Gold 3/4 star. Near Soi6, but in a nice chilled neighborhood

i second this.

but it all depends on your budget. the above cost rounghly 1600-1800baht per night. I had stayed in all 4 hotels including sea me spring tree.

if your budget is anywhere between 1200-1500, try April Suites or March Suites.

My last visit i stayed a little house hotel ,pattaya ,a small ,recently renovated hotel ,great location ,soi skaw beach ,between Made in Thailand beerbarcomplex and soi honey ,the soi is quiet with many restaurants just outside ,the hotels owners are owners of daeng restaurant at corner off the soi,you can get to soi bhaokai from there .

Rooms have good wifi ,safe in room ,lcd tv with 100 + channels ,nice bathroom ,great comfortable  beds.

Its a small hotel ,only 16 rooms i believe ,i can recommend  this hotel.

For info on little house hotel pattaya ,they have facebook page  littlehousepattaya ,there thai phonenumber is 089 444 4365 .

I believe the weekly rate in august was balcony room around 850 a day end without balcony around 650 or 700 a day .

If you google the hotel you see they are on Agoda also ,i  do only walk ins for hotel s in pattaya ,as august is very low season .

August Suites is still girl friendly right? I stay there frequently but switched it up last trip. Now I think I'm going to go back to August next trip.
