You can buy a belt in the shop in front of Mike mall, one of the small shops opposite Kiss restaurant.

Mostly supplements shop selling belts nowadays here. I've noticed by the years it not very common with belts in Thailand like in the west. I personally prefer training "raw" to activate my assistance muscles better. Cause I'm no powerlifter and not going that heavy that I need support or belly pressure.

The only thing with a belt, is that your core and your legs is where the main power comes from.

I have used one in the past. Serious weight lifters and body builders have told me to dump it.

I am a registered weight lifting instructor.

If you have a bad back, there are many isolated weight training exercises you can do.

Don't use one until you are moving at least 20% more than your body weight. Then, read up on them so you buy a proper belt, not just one to hide your gut.

I only use one for my heaviest set of deadlifts or squats. 90%+ of the time, it sits at home collecting dust.

I was going to mention that.

Back in my younger days, saw many guys with big old leather belts in the gym, even if they're doing just machine work and not hardcore lifting. Same as with the pro bodybuilders.

Nowadays I haven't seen anyone wearing a belt. Only time I see a belt is watching power and weight lifting maxes on YouTube.
