We had a few technical issues with regards to the companion profiles and the companion app we will soon be launching, and the weight selection. We 'd  also recieved a lot of request for body type, so we switched from weight to body type in the short term as it also solved a small issue we were having.

Once the companion app is launched we will review the profiles, filters, sort, and service lists, and start making improvememnts based on common feedback.

I like to get a feel for chemistry before choosing a girl. Someone's five star girl may be a one star for me. Photos and reviews are still not enough. Maybe a video profile will help but nothing beats meeting the girl in person before going to the room.

Honest question: I've never understood the appeal of going into whatever vendor thread only to say the vendor's business model doesn't fit what I like to do, and I won't be using the vendor's product. If you don't like the business model, and you don't like the product, why do you bother? There's no improvements to suggest, no tweaks to be make, a zero chance for positive interaction. What's the point? Is it only to build up your 50 posts to get to advanced? :-)

Honest answer: I'm just sharing my thoughts regarding a weakness of ordering escorts on line. Photos cannot communicate the woman's personality. A photo communicates the skills of the photographer more so than the subject.

I believing in addition to pics, adding videos, seeing the woman move, and hearing her voice would aid in selecting a compatible date. I'd like to see this system to succeed but at the same time I'd like to know a little bit more about someone before they show up in my room.

I hope my comments make the developer think about ways to make his product better than it currently is.

I can't see this ever being opened to freelancers because of their dependability, and agree with wtboatr about selecting girls, but smooci is a better option than craigslist.

You can allways check on the Agency website directly if you want. Smooci is showing you witch Agency she is from, google the name and you may find a little more Information from the Girl. That is what I do every time before booking a Girl from Smooci. One at least has some videos too.

I would say that according to post #1 in this thread, open to freelancers is very much in the plan. "Independent Escort" is pretty much the same thing as "Freelancer". :-)  No doubt there are quite a few challenges, not the least of them being the software application itself.

:-) Retired system administrator here. I can only go by what Mr Scmooci (assuming Mr, and not Ms) has posted earlier in the thread. There is not a lot of agency type escort activity in Pattaya that I've seen (other than Eastern European). I suspect the Smooci app would be valuable in Pattaya if the independent escort functionality ever got added in. I do all I can to avoid spending any time in Bangkok, so while the application is interesting to me in a 'maybe someday' sort of basis, in its current form, (Bangkok) it is more of a curiosity.

I would like to know as well, sadly Mr. Smooci seems to have disappeared.

We are still about 3 months off a Pattaya launch. We are planning to launch in Singapore late October/early November, and if that goes smoothly we will try to get the Pattaya launch started soon after.

The Pattaya launch is ultimatley waiting on our Companion app which will allow freelancers to join.

We are close to completing the app needed to allow independents on our site. This should be complete early next month, afterwhich we will launch in Singapore and test out the app. Dependent on the success of that we will work out a Pattaya date soon after, and hopefully it will be within the next 2-3 months.

Cool news. That independent contractor functionality has been 'right around the corner' for the last six months. It would be awesome news if it actually ~was~ right around the corner. :-)

Business that stagnate tend to fail though, so I imagine they have every incentive to hurry on their designs.

The emphasis should be on getting independent providers on the platform, which will increase price competition.

I am a huge smooci fan for a number of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is that Smooci uniquely increases price transparency.

I'd have to assume that's a web app they're talking about, unless it's an Android app not installed through the store.

It's not impossible, but very very difficult to get an app onto the store and keep it there with content that the prudish app store people consider morally questionable or that has varying levels of legality in different places. Especially when they're making nothing out of it.

Outstanding news.  I am heading out Christmas evening to Singapore to respond to a request for me to go and help out with a new company for me!!  All the more reason to negotiate my place in the business there.  Should seal the deal next week, start working in February there....

It's quite a complicated process, creating and introducing the app which will allow freelancers to work on Smooci. Our ambition is to create an app and platform which allows independents to compete on the same level and with the same tools as agency girls, so there is a lot the app has to do, and do well. Several times we have been close only for a small bug or challenge to set us back several weeks.

The app is now in BETA phase and we already have a small group of independents working on the new app on Smooci Bangkok. We will slowly introduce a few more independents in Bangkok, and in the coming weeks we hope to be able to launch in Singapore and allow all independents to join in SG.

If Singapore goes well and the independent app proves a success, we will then look launching in Pattaya, Hong Kong, and beyond.
